Description: In this course Geshe Jampa Gyatso will analyze the fifty-one mental factors, a fundamental study for understanding the mind. The Abidharma considers fifty-one mental factors as crucial, of which about half are considered harmful, while most of the others are considered beneficial. By understanding how virtuous and negative mental factors affect our mind and learning to evaluate their consequences, we will be able to generate greater awareness, reducing suffering and nurturing the sources of happiness.
