dc.description.itLama Tzong Khapa nacque in una provincia del Tibet orientale nel 1357, come era stato profetizzato da Buddha Sakyamuni e da Padmasambhava. I segni di buon auspicio che circondarono la sua nascita indicarono che era nato un essere veramente dotato di qualità eccezionali. Allevato e istruito da uno dei più grandi Maestri del Tantra di Yamantaka, all'età di sedici anni si recò a completare i suoi studi nel Tibet centrale, dove ricevette insegnamenti e iniziazioni da ben 45 guru delle diverse scuole. Dopo essersi intensamente applicato allo studio e alla contemplazione dei diversi insegnamenti, entrò in un ritiro di quattro anni, durante il quale fu in grado di nutrirsi di un solo seme al giorno. Ottenuto il completamento degli stadi del Tantra e le conseguenti realizzazioni, attrasse migliaia di discepoli. dc.description.enLama Tsongkhapa was born in a province of Eastern Tibet in 1357, as had been prophesied by Buddha Shakyamuni and Guru Padmasambhava. The auspicious signs surrounding his birth indicated that he was a truly gifted being with exceptional qualities. Raised and educated by one of the greatest Masters of Yamantaka Tantra, at the age of sixteen he moved to complete his studies in Central Tibet, where he received teachings and initiations from 45 gurus of different schools. After intensely applying to the study and contemplation of the different teachings, he entered a four-year retreat during which he was able to eat only one seed a day. Having achieved the completion of the stages of Tantra and the consequent realizations he attracted thousands of disciples. At the age of sixty-three he announced that he would pass away and on the 25th day of the tenth lunar month he gave a short talk on the altruistic Mind of Enlightenment (Bodhicitta), then sat in meditation and stopped breathing. His numerous disciples saw his body take on the form of a sixteen-year-old lad.it_IT
