Description: Lojong, known as “mind training” or “thought transformation”, deals with a series of techniques to transform each activity into an event of spiritual significance. The teaching of Lojong is especially useful in this age of social and economic unrest, when the conditions that support spiritual practice are scarce and there are many that oppose it. Therefore, it’s a very effective method of transforming adverse circumstances into an advantage for the spiritual path. Brought to Tibet by Atisha, this teaching spread in the four main schools. These instructions can be used by all people interested on spiritual evolution. The commentary is based on the root text of the great Kadampa lama Chekawa Yeshe Dorje: “The Seven-Point Thought Transformation”.
