Description: Tibetan astrology comes from three different sources: the astrology of the Kalachakra tantra, the astrology of the stars (Yangchar) and the astrology of the elements. 1. Kalachakra tantra astrology explains the movement of planets and stars in space, seasons and lunar and solar eclipses. - 2. The astrology of the stars concerns the constellations of the 12 zodiac signs and their influence on our existence. - 3. The astrology of the elements relates the year, month, day and hour with the planets and stars. The latter is divided into six sections: karmic horoscope, harmony in relationships, obstacles of the year, illnesses, propitiatory measures for the dead, favorable or unfavorable days for choices to be made. Tibetan astrology is in harmony with Buddhism.
