Description:	The bodhisattva path involves the practice of Sutras and Tantras. Tantrayana or vajrayana is considered the shortcut to Buddhahood in the sense that, if properly practiced, can lead to Buddhahood even in one lifetime. However, without the knowledge and motivation of Sutrayana the Tantrayana has no meaning. Selfless motivation, which is founded on great compassion towards others is, for example, a fundamental requirement for being able to successfully practice tantra.
