Description: In Buddhist practice, the main object of observation, study and transformation is one's own mind. Therefore, it is important to have a complete overview of our mind and its functions, both from the epistemological (i.e. the various ways we have to know the phenomena and the world around us) and from the psychological and moral points of views, that is mind’s structure and its various components, their nature and functioning. This study is commonly known as Lo.Rig: mind and knowledge. In this course Geshe Jampa Gyatso explains this vast topic and how to use this knowledge to transform and overcome the deep-rooted negative habits of the mind in the process of spiritual development.
