Abstract: Gyalwa Gyatso (Ocean of Compassion) initiation. To receive this initiation it is necessary to have taken refuge in the three Jewels, to have a basic knowledge of the Buddhadharma and to commit to practicing the tantric path with an altruistic motivation as well as to keep the commitments and responsibilities that this entails (Guru Yoga daily sadhana in six sessions, bodhisattva vows and tantra vows).
Description: Gyalwa Gyatso is a manifestation of Chenrezig, the Buddha of Compassion, in union with his consort. This initiation belongs to the class of Maha-anuttara yoga tantra, the highest of the four classes of tantra, and allows one to recite its sadhana.
