Description: Sanskrit: Parnashavari (Tibetan: Loma Ghyonma) is the hermit deity of the mountains, able to dispel ignorance and protect against diseases, especially infectious ones. She is also identified as the twentieth Tara, specializing in the treatment of diseases thanks to the power of medicinal herbs, wearing a kilt of leaves and, in one hand, holds a bouquet of medicinal plants. She is peaceful and angry at the same time; belongs to the family of Buddha Amoghasiddhi and therefore emphasizes the quick accomplishment of the Buddha's enlightened activities.
