Description: The Mandala offering, which is usually done before the teachings, is a symbolic way of offering the Buddhas the whole ordinary world and asking them to transform it into a 'Pure Land'. On a deeper level, the offering of the mandala is a practice of purifying our mental attitudes - the transformation of negative circumstances into positive circumstances.
